What Is a PRP Facial?

It gets the nickname of “vampire facial” because we draw a small amount of your own blood to use for the treatment. We separate the platelet-rich plasma from your blood and apply it to your skin, often in conjunction with microneedling, for maximum glow-boosting results. PRP and PRF treatment appointments typically take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. This time includes the blood draw, separation process, and reintroduction to your skin and scalp. The overall process is quick, minimally invasive, and requires little to no downtime post-treatment.
These treatments are generally well-tolerated with minimal discomfort. A small amount of blood is drawn and then if any injections or microneedling are being done, we offer a topical anesthetic to make sure you are comfortable and relaxed during your visit with Raven Med Spa.

Hair restoration treatments may take a few months to become evident as it takes time for the dormant hair follicles to begin to grow new hair. After results become noticeable, they continue to develop over the next three to six months as collagen production and tissue regeneration continue.

During your consultation, we will come up with a plan and estimated amount of sessions to achieve your desired results. Most clients require around three to four sessions scheduled about four to six weeks apart.
